About

Attorney in Brazoria County

Jeff Purvis has been licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas since 1995. After a brief period practicing in Dallas County, Mr. Purvis moved to Brazoria County, Texas in 1997 to take a job with the Brazoria County District Attorney’s office. Mr. Purvis established his residence in Lake Jackson and continues to reside in the Brazosport area.

In 1999, a change in leadership at the District Attorney’s office led Mr. Purvis to leave that office and open his own private practice in Angleton. In 2004, Mr. Purvis formed the partnership of Crenshaw & Purvis, L.L.P. to better provide professional legal services to the citizens of Brazoria and surrounding counties. Mr. Purvis focuses his practice on the defense of the criminally accused and is one of only a handful of lawyers in Brazoria County certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a criminal law specialist. Mr. Purvis is dedicated to preserving the rights of the citizen accused from an over-zealous government and looks forward to the opportunity to defend your case to the full extent of the law.
